Project Outcome: Despite Hurricane Ian's devastating impact on the Naples coast mid-project, the team persevered to deliver a transformative space. The renovation successfully converted this Chicago family's beloved Naples escape into an ideal retirement destination that serves multiple purposes: a calm, cognitively-supportive environment for an elderly veteran resident with special needs, a comfortable multi-generational gathering place, and a pet-friendly sanctuary. The uncluttered design proved therapeutic - clearing physical space helped clear mental clutter - while integrated technology and aging-in-place features ensure the home adapts to evolving needs. Through resilience and dedication, the project emerged as a testament to thoughtful, human-centered design that creates lasting memories while supporting dignity, independence, and family connection.
